FOOTBALL.
BUBH DISTRICT V. NELSON.
Tuh visiting team arrived at 10 o'clock , yesterday morning by the s.s. Rotoiti, under the managership of Mr E. Darley. Tbe team was received by the Seoretary and Treasurer (Messrs Stiles and Levien), and Measrt A. Dee and Adams, and driven to the Coach & Horses Hotel. The veterans are not a very heavy contingent, but are said to be very active, and therefore should give a good account of themselves. The registered color of their Union is white, but they will play in the Pahiatua Club's colors, red and black. The team is selected from three clubs, and is composed as follows : — Fullback : G. Dew, 10—3. Three-quarters : E. Cook, 10—6 ; H. GrevUle, 11—4 ; E. Harding, 12—3. Five-wgbtb. : S. Wilson, 12—8. Halt: G. Yule, 10-9. Wings : R. Williams, 12—4 ; F. Butland 10-9. : Forwards : F. Dew, 11—6 ; G. Gregory, 11—7; G. Walker, 11—5; W. Yule, 11—2 ; E. Naylor, 10—8 ; W. Smith, 10—10; H. Greville, 11—4.
