A large crowd assembled at the Government Wharf on Thursday "evening to witness the embarkation of tbe Nelson and Waimea corps by the Government steamer

Tutanekai for Westport, where the Easter encampment is being held. The steamer left the wharf about nine o'olock, and as she steamed down the harbor the Nelson Garrison Band played a lively air. The Tutanekai presented a pretty sight as she steamed ont, her numerous electric lamps shining brightly, and adding to the picturesqueness of the scene.
