In the case in which Paneri Tawern was charged with murder corroborative evidence was given by the brother-in-law of deceased. The Magistrate intimated he was fully satisfied that there was sufficient evidence to warrant him committing the man for trial, but at the prisoner's counsel request he remanded him till Wednesday.
