THE first Election of Members of the Colege Ooancii will be held on MON DAY, the 11th April, 1898, the poll dosing at 5 o'clcck p.m. The members to be elected are : — (a.) Three by members of the Legislature for the time being resident in, or representing electoral districts wholly or mainly within, the Wellington, Nelson, Westhnd, Marlborough, Hawke'a Bay, asd Taranaki Provincial Districts. (&.) Three by persons whe, being holders of a degree of any university of tbe United Kingdom or of any British Colony, are for tbe time being resident witbia Buy of the said provincial districts ; (c.) Three oy such persons holding ocr tificates under section 45 of " The Education Act, 1877," as are over the age of twenty-one year? and fjr the time being resident within any of the said provincial districts ; (d ) Three by members of the Sduoation Boards of tbe eduoation districts wholly or partly within any of the said provincial districts.
