THIRD CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP.
The final match for the third class championship was played in the Botanical Garden Reserve on Saturday, when the Rivals II defeated the College 111 on the first innings by 30 runs and thus for the third year in succession, the Kivals, who have an unbeaten record have secured the third-class championship. For the College K. Sclan-. ders fwas top scorer with 47, and for the Rivals W. Bannehr made 51 not out in the first and 13 not out in the second innings, while Toms made 34 and 17 respectively. In bowling Wix delivered 12 balls without a run being secured and he obtained one wicket. The following are the scores. Rivals 11. Ist innings. 2nd innings.
