Christchurch, Maroh 5. To-night the Industrial Aesooiation made a new rule permitting the establishment of a ladies or other section for assisting and advising tbe Association. It was deoided to aek tbe (iovernment to forward all information in its possession relative to the manufacture of beet root sugar. The Association passed a resolution approving the efforts of Baxmillers to re-establish the trade, and urging the Government to increase the grant al- j ready made so as to enable the scope of the proposed enquiry into the fibre markets to bo as comprehensive as possible. A sum of £10 was voted as a contribution towards the flaxmillers undertaking. j
