FEDERAL CONVENTION.
Melbourne, December 21.
The Premier of New South Wales has wired to Mr Turner suggesting January 26, Anniversary Day, as an appropriate date for the issoe vt the Federal Convention writs. Mr Turner oonours, and thinks there will be no difficulty in arranging a date for the elections suitable for all the oolonies.
