The first batch of Italian soldiers released by the King of Abyssinia, 223 in number, have arrived at Leala, and the English stationed there went miles to welcome and entertain them. The Marquis Kudini has thanked Lord Salisbury for the sympathy shown them. General Albertini is to be retained until the indemnity is paid.
