FROZEN MEAT.
Melbourne, Jane 19. The agents cf (be Eastern Australian Steamship Company have notified the Government that tbey have fitted three steamers with small refrigerating Bpaoe, and are prepared to carry a limited quantity of frozen produce to the Chinese and Japanese markets at the rate of a penny per pound. They intimate that they are aho prepared to carry a few live stock with a view to testing the Eaon tern markets.
