Fatal Accident.
W. Kelly, a young unmarried man of J twenty-four, a letter sorter, son of the late I pilot Kelly, broke his neck on Saturday " evening through falling down a narrow flight of Bteps near tbe Poßt Offioe. Tbe steps were wet and the conjecture is that he Blipped, At the Inqueßt oouoerning the death of William Kelly, htter carrier, tbe Jury returned a verdict of accidental de.th by falling £ in the recess in the entrance to the Post Offioe ia Liverpool stteet, and added a rider that the Bteps shoald be protejted with a railing. It was Btated tbat the deceased had taken three whiskies a short time bafoie the aooident, but althongh two fellow letter carriers said he staggered somewhat, other evidence was to the effect tbat Kelly was all right.
