A la'gely-attended meeting of householders was held at the Lower Moutera Schoolroom, when Mr Edelsten was votei to tb.3 chai-, for thß purpose of electing a naw Bohool oommiite, as required by the Bdnca-ti-n Act of 1891. Aftar reading the annual Keport and Balanoa Sheet, nine nominations were received, and the euooesßful candidates ware! Weearß D Haslem, A Herrici, J A Guy. M Hyland, J Druurnond, W Crees*ell, and F He? rick, A vote of thanks to ih<j retiring Committea and the u^oal \ote to the Chairman brough; the roes ing to a close about ten o'clock.
