HON. MR. WARD.

London, May 11. The Canadian Government has invited the Hon. Mr Ward to viait Ottawa to discuss matters of general interest as between Canada and New Zealand. Mr Watd accepts the invitation conditionally on his engagements permitting it. Mr Ward informed the Colonial Farty of the Houeo of Commons that Mew Zealand desired a naval station, in view of the result of the Japanese war. Sir Charles Dilke considered a station in Sydney was sufficient.
