In the course of an interview, Biohardeon, •he Surrey bowler, declared that George Giffen was one of the greatest of batsmen, and tbat amoegtbe most promising of the Australian cricketers are Iredale, Darling, A. E. Trott, and Clem Bill. Both Stoddart and Brown ooncur in this opinion.
