Inquest.
Wellington, January 15. At an inquest on the body of the girl Mason found in the Rumuhanga river, the Jury brought in a verdict of temporary insanity caused by groundless charges brought against her. The unfortunate girl left a letter denying that she had taken money as alleged, and denying certain slanderous reports about her. The medical evidence corroborated the letter in this respect.
