Weekly Half Holiday
Dunedin, January 15. The Conference of delegates from the oity and suburban Councils, convened in term 3of the Shops and Shop Assistants' Aot, for the settlement of the day upon which the weekly half holiday shall be observed, was held tonight. It was moved that Thursday be the day selected, bat an amendment fixing Wednesday was accepted, and carried unanimously. Saturday was not even suggested.
