The miners engaged in both the Beaham and West WallflenQ oollierieß have rejected the Board's resolution, the speakers declaring that if endorsed by the district this would mean tbb break up of the Association as men would deoline to Bubßoribe if they had to fight their own battles. The Beaham miners have notified the -managetnent that they are prepared to return to work but the manager has deolined to reoognise the men as a lodge and Baid they oould apply individually. The Wallaend have reduced the telling price of ooal to 7s 6d in consequenoe. The strike ballot of the various miners resulted in the withdrawal of the demand for an advance in hewing rate.
