P.egatta Meeting.— A meeting of those who are favorable to the holding of a regatta about Chxiatmaß time, will ba he'd at the MasODie Hotel this evening at eight o'clock. Held Over.— We are compelled to hold over till next isaue a quantity of matter, Cbicket Tbophies.— Three tradesmen have very [generously offered Jtrophies far competition amongst Clubs engaged in the Senior Championship, Messrs H. D. Jackson and Son offer a bat to the batsman in the country teams who secure the best batting average in Championship matobes, and Messrs J. B. Hqnnsell and Co will give a cricketing bag to the bowler amongst the Town Clubs, who has the best bowling average at the end of the season in the Championship matobes. Messrs E W. Dee and Sons offer a suit of cricketing flannels, leaving tha Association to settle tbe conditions. Cricketers will no doubt be much encouraged by theao gifts, and thedonors are to be oommended for their generosity.
