FROZEN MEAT.
London, August 28.
The thawing of frozen meat under Nelson Bros new patent will .cost- a- farthing per lb and Smitbfield.. experts expect that it will increase the value of the meat from Id to l£d per lb. The process of mechanical taawing will occupy two days for mutton, and five days for beef. The produoe merchants in Cadiz, Spain, have requested Mr Forest of Queensland, to forward them trial shipment of that Colony's meat, as they believe there is a good ohanoe of opening a market.
