Sad Intelligence. — It is with deep regret we learn, by a telegram from Napier, of the death of young Caro, a regret which will be shared by all old College boys, who knew deceased. He started on bis return to New Zealand, via America, but the fell destoyer overtook him, and at Michigan be was cut down by brain fever. The bereaved ones mu6t feel keenly this terrible aod sudden blow, and we feel sure they will have the warm sympathy of all Nelsonians in the hour of their great sorrow. All the players are members of our looal clubs, and, thoold the weather prove fine, as it promises to do, an interesting game may be anticipated. Considering the good object, together with the promise of some excellent music, there should be a large attendance.
