Wellington, January 3.

With nine months of the finanoial year gone the Ooetoms revenue of the oolony is £21,700 over the Oolonial Treasurer's estimate for that period. The total amount colleoted to the end of last month was £1,236,809. The Cuatoma revenue of last month amonnted to £135,883 oompared to £128,117 for the previous month, and £143. 336 for tbe corresponding month of tbe previous year. Anokland contributed £32.507, Wellington £24,779, Christohuroh £20,622, and Dnnedin £30,495. The total amount of beer duty oolleoted in the oolony last month waa £6,812, Auokland contributing £1612, Wellington £557, Ohristohuroh £1203, and Danedin £1616. In the previous month £5,779 was oolleoted, and in the corresponding m-nth of the previous year! £7,196. For the nine months of the finanoial year tbe beer duty has exoeeded the estimate by £282.
