CORRESPONDENCE.

To the Editor of the Colonist. Sib,— l should like to call the attention of the railway authorities hereto the wonderful margin they allow on their line for a few extra passengers. To-day by the midday train there was barely standing room either on the platform or in the carriages, and there was not such a great crowd of passengers, considering the various attractions there were in the country the day before. For my own part, for a seat in a first class carriage, and had to stand on a eeoond class platform in such a crowd one could soarcely move. Yours, &c, Citizen. January 2, 1894.
