QEALED TENDERS will be received at t O the General Post Office, Wellington, until Noon of WEDNESDAY, 27th instant, 1 for the conveyance by four-horse ooaoh of Mails between the undermentioned plaoes for a period of two years, and for an alternative period of three years from date of commencement of service : — Tokaanu and Wai- ' ouru twioe weekly, Waiouru and Pipiciki weekly (connecting with the Wanganui River 'i steamer), Waiouru and Mangaonoho weekly l conneotiog with railway trains at Mangaono--3 ho. In the event of a tender or tenders being aooepted, it shall be optional with the Department to require the servioe or services to be h run during the tourist season from Novem™ ber to April only in each year, and to maka corresponding reduction in the amount of subsidy, or to require the servioe to be darned on continuously for the full contraot term. The services mast be carried out according to timetables framed by the Department. If | required, the services to commence within four weeks from the date on which tenders are accepted. Forms of tender, with the terms and conditions of oontraot, may be procured at any Chief Post Offiae. No tender will be considered unless made on tha printed form.
