{Capetown, Daoembet 13. Major Forbes has oaptared Lobeqgula. Deoember 14. The reported capture of King liobengafe bj Major Forbea is premature. A detach* mant of the latter's force under Captain Wilson overlook LobeDgala's waggon on tho banks of the Snangani river, where the natives wtra in ambuscade and hotly attacked Captain Wilson's men, eompeliing them to retire, until a sudden rise in the Shangani prevented a junotion boiween the major portion of Major Forbes' troops and Captain Wilson's detachment. The position of tha latter is repotted to be perilous, and Major Forbes is attempting to cross the rives to their assistance.
