[UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, October 14. The cyclists opened the season by a large procession of wheelmen, who took a run round the suburbs. The case against Charles Clark, licensee of the Victoria Hotel, of permitting hazard to be played on his premises, was dismissed. _ At the annual meeting of the Caledonian Society, the report showed a credit balance of £73, and assets £113, besides £41 raised for widows. , „. Westpobt, October 14. There was shipped 2,918 tons of coal per Westport Coal Company, and 555 tons per Mokihinui Coal Company, during the week.
