The Bud of Promise Tent held its half n yearly snmmoned meeting on January 3, there being a good attendance of members.' The balanoe sheet and auditors' report were read and adopted, the former showing that the total funds of the Tent are £1101 14s- 4d, being an inorease of £74 Oa Id for the halfyear. ThO sick pay for the half-year being only £13 13 43, and for the whole year £38 13 4d. The funds are air fully and profitably invested. The membership now Btands at 95. Four new members have been initiated during the half-year. Dr Gibbs was unanimously re-eleoted Tent Burgeon, The following offioera were elected and installed for the ensning six months:— CE, Bro W Snodgrass; DR, Bro M S Smith ; Treasurer, Bro J Piper ; Seoretary, Bro S F Sherwood ; Oash Steward,- Bro 0 David; Book Steward, Bro J E Johnston ; Levite, Bro T M Murray ; Guardian, Bro W Miller.
