CONGREGATIONAL CONFERENCE.

LONDON, July 15. ' The Colonial delegates to the Congregational Church Conference have considered a proposal that the Colonial Missionary Sooiety ehall in future devote its income to temporary grants for new work in populous Colonial centres. Bey Mr Bertram declared that New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia did not require assistance, but tbat Northern Queensland and Western Australia need help, which the other Colonies Bhould render.
