LONDON, July 14. The Government will allow the Society of Arts £25,000 for the purpose of defraying the expenses of representation of British artists at the Chicago Exhibition. The Colonies are invited to send contributions, and it is suggested that Sir S Samuel Bhould represent Australia on the commission.
