In all probality the vessel will arrive in port during the day. Sudden Death.— Yesterday-morning a well known individual, Wm. Joseph Thomson, waß found dead ih bed. It appears that he awoke about six o'olook in the morning, but subsequently appeared, to fall 1 off ' to sleep again, and after a time his wife, got np, when; a little later his abearance attracted her atten* tion; and ehe sent for Dr Hudson. Tke unfortunate man, however; was dead. It is not deemed necessary by the Coroner to hold an inquest, as Thomson was known.to.be afflioted wjth heart diseape. .Some, years ago the deceased was in business in Nelson ac a oonfeotionerj He was 58 years of age.
