LIVE STOCK.

Tha entry of stook at Addington, on Wed* ne_ day, was a large one. The totals yarded for the day comprised 9505 sheep, 313 oattle, 388 pigs, of which our entries comprised 2600 sheep (all fat) 160 head of oattle and 170 pigs. Fat Sheep: Very large number yarded, including some really choice quality. 16s, 17s, 18s, 19s and 20s were prices whioh were repaatedly heard during the day. Buyers, perhaps, were not so numerous as usual, but competition was good, and sales were effected without difficulty. The principal sales were as follows;— 130 oroaß-bred ewes at from 12s 8d to 14s ld, 130 freezers at from 14s 7d to 19s, 20 half-bred ewes at 14s Bd, 59 freezers at from 15s 3d to 16s, merino wetbers at 9s 6d, 250 light weight freezers at from 14s Cd to 15s 85, 33 freezers at 17s Bd, freezers at 153 6d, 164 wethers and maiden ewes at 15s 6d, 60 cross-bred ewes at 13s, 55 half-bred ewes at lis 3d, 100 freezers at from 16s to 16s lOd, 27 freezers at 17s lOd, a splendid line of freezers at from 18s to 18s Bd, 71 half-bred ewes at lis, merino wethers at 9a 6d, 180 freezers at from 15s 9d to 163, a fine line of freezers at from los to 18s Bd, 270 cross-bred ewes at from 13s lid to 14s 9d, 170 cross-bred ewes at from 15s to 15s 3d, 60 cross-bred ewes at from 13s 6d, Store Sheep: A few odd lines of wethers and maiden ewes created keen competition at from lis to 13s 6d. Lambs sold well at from 7s to 8s 4d ; cross bred ewes realised from 7s 6d to 10s 9d each. Fat Cattle : Large entry to hand, including some very prime cattle, noticeable amongst whioh was a consignment oi bullooka from tbe North Island, whioh was greatly admired. Bullocks sold at from £6 15s to £7 10s; heifers sold at from £5 to £6 ss; cows realised from £4 10s to £6 10s each. A grand line of bullocks at from £8 to £8 15s ; 13 steers at from £5 12s 6d to £7 5s ; oows at £3 5s ; 10 steers at £5 10s ; and cows from £3 2s 6d to £4 15s; oows at £4 15s; 10 heifers at from £3 5s to £4 12s 6d ; 15 heifers at from £4 to £5 17s 6d ; 6 head at frcm £4 12s 6d to £5 17s 6d each. Store Catt'.e: No special lines on offer; inquiry dull. Pigs : Large entry to hand. The principal sales were as follow:— 38 porkers at from 12s to 15s; 14 baconers at from £1 7s to £1 113, and 30 porkers from 16s to 19s; pigs up to £3 15s, porkers from 12s 6d to 17s 6d, pigs up to £1 12s 6d, pigs at 20s, piga at 15s, baconers at £1 14s, baconers at £1 8s 6d, baconers at £1 19s, weaners at 6s Od, porkers at 20s, baconers at £1 10s, baconers at £1 10s. Horses: At Tattersall's there was a good attendance cf the trade present, and sales were effected without muoh diffioulty. Best draught and farm horses sold at from £12 10s to £18, Hacks and light harness horses realised from £8 10s to £16 eaoh.
