LOSS OF FORZEN MUTTON.

LONDON, May 4. News haa been received here that the Shaw Saville and Co's cargo steamer Matnaii, which left Auckland for London, via Rio, on March 20, grounded on the Abrothos, a group of low, rooky islands off tbe coast of Brazil. After jettisoning 15 000 carca?e3 of frozen mutton, which were stowed in the forehold, sh3 continued on her voyage to Teneriff^.
