THE BRISBANE FIRE.
BKISBANE, December 6. The risks of the X \ Zealand Insurance Companies on Benjn ■■■ ia Brothers' premises, destroyed by fire this morning, are: South British £1600, New Zealand £1500, National £1000, Equitable £5000. December 7. M'Arthur's insurance in New Zealand offices on the stock, which was largely damaged by yesterday's fire, were as follows : —United £1000, Standard £1500, National £2000, New Zealand £2000, and on building New Zealand £6,500. It is now estimated that the total damage amounts to £70,000. Five firemen were injured by falling walls.
