The opinion was this cou'd not be answered until the log was framed. The election of officers was next proceeded with, and Mr Alfred Barltrop proposed Rev. F. W. Isifct a? President, subject to his accepting same, a Committee tj wait upon him for an answer. Mr Btaisbaw seconded the proposition. For Secretary there were four nominations and Mr A. H. Barltrjp was electei afcer a ballot. Mr Gibson propoeed, and Mr Large seconded, that a hearty vote of thanks be accorded to the Chairman, pro tern Secretary, and late Committee for thtir services in having brought the Association to co successful an i~sue, and that the pro tern Secretary receive £1 from the funds for his services. Carried. The following were then elected as an Executive Committee, there being twelve nominations: Messrs Gibson, Murphy, Cave, Gaynor, Moore, and Bray. Messrs Coventry and Hoope.' were appointed Auditori.
