Lately I have been able to get about, but if I wished to pick up anything from the ground I had to go down on one knee, and to rise again I had to place one hand upon the ground. I write this to inform my friends, and the public in general, that I have been afflicted for 5 years with an ulcerated leg and foot. I have been four years without placing my left foot on the ground. I bave been in three hospitals and could get no relief, and eventually I waß brought home to die, given up by all the physicians whom I had applied to for the prescriptions. I had been lying two months upon my bed when Professor Stowell came to my honse and quickly dressed my leg and foot with his Eheumatic Exterminator. He dressed it daily for two weeks and a half, at the end of which I could walk about comfortably with a stick. At the end of four weeks I could walk lively without the stick, and the only thing that remains of my affliction is in my ankle, Which is a ittle weak but ia strengthening daily, and I have no hesitation in stating that Mr S Stowell has done with his Ointment what no medical man could do that I applied to, and to him I shall be grateful while I live, and remain his humble servant, Edwin Wilson, Canvastown, Wakamarina. I have a child about three years of age who was very severely and dangerously scalded by the accidental upsetting of a pot of boiling water all over his body, being most severely injured on the abdomen and thighs. I got some of Mr Stowell's Rheumatic Exterminator, and applied it as recommended and directed by him. There was little or no pain after the first application, and the wounds commenced immediately to heal, and the child was perfectly healed in nine days.
