LABOR DEMONSTRATIONS
LONDON
May 1.
To-day there was a small procession of Socialists from the Yiotoria Embankment to Hyde Park.
As yet no serious disturbance has ocourred on the Continent in connection with the 1 abor celebrations. At Paris Blight skirmishes took place between the mob and police. .
At Buda Pesth, Hungary, the military oharged and suppressed the rioters Elsewhere all is tranquil.

The labor demonstrations passed off quietly though cessation from work was general throughout France. BEBLIN.
May 2. The labor celebrations were scarcely ob served in Germany.
VIENNA,
May 2. Fifty thousand persons paraded the streets yesterday, advocating the eight hoars labor system. There was no disturbance, and in the evening the crowds quietly dispersed, LONDON,
May 2. .At other places on the Continent and in Amerioa nothing eventful happened.
