NEW ELECTORAL DISTRICTS.

It is understood that in the re-arrangement of the electoral districts twe ye will disappear from the South Island and nine from tbe North, while the names of some of the others have been altered. Amongst those erased are, Kodney, Coromandel, one oi the Fianklyns, Waipa, Tauraoga, Taranaki, Foxton, Manawatu, Woodville. Motueka, Kumara, Cheviet, Linwood, St Albans, Sydenham, Akaroa, Rangiata, Gladstone, Waihemo, Dunstan, Waikaia, Hokotouni, Peninsula, and Caversham. The boundaries will be gazetted to day, but the maps will not be ready till next we?k. A ' Gazette ' is published with the electoral boundaries. The City of Nelson comprises the City of Nelson, together with the Stoke riding of the County of Waimea. This district includes the town district of Bichmond. Waimea Pic ton comprises the County of the Sounds, the borough of Pictou, and the whole of the County of Waimea excepting the Wangapeka Riding and that portion of the] Motueka Riding West of the Motueka Road District, arid excepting also the St^ke Riding of the same County, together with the Pelorous Riding of the County of Marlborough and that portion of the Pictoa Riding in the same County situate west of the B:enheim-Picton railway and north of sections 97 and 117, and the forest reserve. This district includes the town district of I Havelock. The Wairau comprises the who'.e I of the County of Marlborough excepting the Pelorous Riding and that portion of the Pictoa Riding situato west of the BlenheimPicton railway and north of sections 97 and 117, and the iorest reserve, together with the County of Kaikom*a and borough of Blenheim.
