To Taranaki and Manukau.—Per Wanaka to-day, at 7 p.m. To Greymonth—Per Mawhera, tOday, at 9 a.m. The 'Frisco mail, due London February 3, will close at Kelson on Thursday at 10 am. CHRISTMAS AND BOXING DAY. The following arrangements are made for Christmas and Boxing days: Wednesday, 25th instant, will be observed as a close holiday in the Postal branoh, but on Thursday, 26th, will be open in all branches from 9 to 10 a.m. On the evening of the 21th •11 receivers will be cleared, and mails usually despatched on Wednesday will be closed the sight previous at 7 p.m. Thia will also apply to ship mails. A delivery of town letters will be made over the counter between 7 and 8 p.m. Telegraphic Branch—Hours of attendance. Morning, 9 to 10 a.m ; evening, 7 to 8 p.m. The Telephone Exchange will open on Christmas Day between 9 and 10 a.m, and as usual on Boxing Day. Foreign Mails. F~r Melbourne. -Leave Nelson December 2«. For Sydney—Leave Nelson, Deo 31. For London, via 'Frisco.—Deo 26, due London February 3. F?r London direct, per Tongariro, (specially addressed) — Leave Nelson Deo 24, due London Feb 6. For London, via Ceylon and Brindisi (specially addressed). Deo 26; due London Feb 13. Parcels for England are forwarded by eaoh direct steamer.
