During the month of October of last year there were in one dook in London the following vessels loading cargots for Australasian ports :—Blengfell, Eastminster, Pleioce, and May Queen. Not cix months have elapsed, and three out of the four vessels named have been .trapped by Father Neptune. The Blengfell landed her merchandise ac Sydney, proceeded to Newcastle, and is now at this port. The Eastminster arrived safely at Sydney, but is missing and supposed to have foundered on the Queensland coast, while vyt need hardly mention the fate of the other two. The stranding of the Pleione is fresh in the memory of all, while the ill-fated May Queen, which lies on th« rooks in Lyttolton Harbor, will not be forgotten for many a day, at least by those conneoted with the Bhipping of the port of Lyttelton.—Lyttelton ' Times. 1
