MAJOR KENNEDY AND CAPTAIN BEVILLE.

A correspondent of the ' Calcutta Englishman ' at Bangoon gives florae particulars of the deaths ot Major Kennedy and Captain Bailie. He lived about an hour after he was shot. Major Kennedy, who was over 6 feet in height, and the model of a soldier, was shot later on, while leading the infantry, who had just come up. He was badly wounded above the elbow of the xiyht arm; but he really bled to death, and had medical assistance been available, bis life would, in all probability, have been saved.
