LONDON, Octobers. , A demonstration, which was attended by several thousand working men, was held in Hyde Park to-day to protest against the system of sugar bounties. Besolutions were adopted demanding the imposition of countervailing duties. 8.M.8. Raikoura, which left Wellington on August 25, arrived at Plymouth to-day. Her cargo of frozen meat is in good condition. At the wool sales to-day 10,800 bales were offered. The market was steady, l 4 but there was not an active demand.
