THE BELLRINGERS.

To-night the Lynch Family of Bellringers will appear at the Theatre JRoyal, after an absence of nearly seven years. These popular Campanologians have been before tbe public for nearly a quarter of a century, and they are always increasing in favor. • No ma ter where their entertainments are given whether in India, China, Japan, Australia, or New Zeahrd they are always sure of large and appreciative auiences. We notice by our late files of the Dunedin, Timaru, and Blenheim papers, that the Bellringers have been doing a big: business in spite of the dull times. In addition to the talented family of Bellringer3 Mr T. Gilpin, a baritone of high order, Mr J..C. Parlatto, a cleyer Dutch comedian and impersonator, and Messrs Crome and Dyston, two brilliant pianists, travel with the Company, so that with duch a host of talent the entertainments ara diversified to suit all tastes. We received the following telegram alaout the Bellringers from Blenheim last night :~ The firet costume cricket match, ever held in Blenheim took pace on Saturday afternoon between the Lynch Family Bellringers and the Bleuheim Cricket Club in aid of the Garrison Band. There was a very 1 <rgo attendance, and a considerable sum was realised. The affair was a great success, and the various characters wire splendidly represented. The Lynch Family, who have made themselves very popular here, Lave given six performances, and have a'tvactcd grand houses. ' They took a leading part in the services at the English Church yesterday, and the church was thronged on both occasions. The Bellringers left for Nelson this morning.
