He was for a long time trainer to the Duke of Hami ton, the Marquis of Huntly, Prince Soltykdif, Sir Wroth Lethbridge, and Sir John Astley, and in the years 1874, 1875, and 1876 he achieved many notable triumphs. A small residential estate in Sour ersetsbire, near Frome, has just been sold for £1500. Ten years ago £9750 was refused for this property.
