Peeling convinced'that a large Cash business can be successfully carried on in Nelson, have purchased Messrs Smythe & Co.'s lease of the corner premises in Hardy street, where they are now selling off the balance of Smythe & .Co.'s stock. They have made special arrangements with the Kaiapoi "Woollen Company, the Roslyn Woollen Company, and- one or two other manufacturing firms, for a constant supply of their Goods, which will be supplied to the Public of Nelson at mill f rices—with 5 per cent, added for Freight and Charges. . The new Stock is now in process of manufacture, and will arrive here in about ten day, Meanwhile the balance of Smythe's & Co.'s stock will be cleared at still further reductions. G. L.
