The insurances on Allen's stock was £2200 in the Colonial Insurance Company; tbe buildings were insured by Mr Buckland for £600 in the South British : Messrs Hesketh and Aitken, seedsman, occupied the ground floor. Their stock was damaged by water; it was insured for £200 in the°South British. Allen closed the premises at 5 o'clock, and cannot account for tne origin of the fire.*' '"
