The. following is the report of the Christchurch Corn Exchange for the week ending Friday, Nov. 23 :— The slight improvement of last week haß not held good for this, business having settled down to the dull routine usual at this time of year, and a continuance of which may be expected until harvesting bur present crops, the prospects of which look fairly promising. Quotations for the week are as follows :— Wheat.—So jnd milling 3s 9d to 43 per bushel, delivered in Christchuroh; second quality, 3s 3d to 3s 6d ; chick wheat, Is lOd to 2s 3d per bushel. . _ ■~-i Oate.—Prime milling 2s Id to 2s 2d per bushel, i.o.b', bright short feed, Is lid to 2s j. inferior and'disoolored, Is 8d to Is lOd pe"r bushel. . ■-~ ;. .. •-'". : Barley.—First-class malting 4s to 4s'3d per bushel j second quality, 3a 6d to 3s 8d j feed, Is.lid to 2a 2d per bushel.
