A Sac Sight.—Last night, shortly before ten o'clock, startling cries of " Murder", and, " Help," disturbed and alarmed a number of the residents in Church street, and the lower' parts of Hardy and Vraimea streets. These cries were uttered by a barefooted man, who'was lacking other portions of'his dress, > and who appeared to he in a shocking mental' condition. The individual in-question holds a prominent position in the City, and it is not the first time he has disturbed the .peace of the' City'at night ,time. As a number of citizens'were-attracted by the' cries,—(some of whom helped the unfortunate man home) —no,'doubt a member of the Police Force was present; as it seems hardly probable that the cries were not heard, Toy one of tbe Constables on duty at the hour, consequently, more will be heard-of the matter, and in the meantime we refrain from further comment;
