She returns here to-morrow afternoon, and makes a trip to Motueka and back, leaving Nelson at 7 p.m. The Penguin arrived in harbor at 6 30 a_a yesterday from South. She left at 5 p.m on herfreturn South. The Wallace should have arrived at Westport from Nelson, via Karamea. The Hawea crossed the Manukau bar at 9*45 a.m yesterday,- and will probably arrive here this evening. She leaves at 8-30 a.m to morrow for Picton and South. The Murray arrived from Wanganui yesterday morning, and sailed for Wellington in the evening. The Wakatipu, from Sydney, reached Wellington early yesterday morning. The Charles Edward left for West Coast ports at 7 p.m yesterday. The Grafton arrived at Westport at 6 a,m yesterday, and will be at Qreymouth this morning. Thb ship Opawa sailod from Wellington for Loudon on Monday last, taking about 12 passengers and a cargo valued at upwards of £50,000. j T±r_ three great ports of the world are London, Liverpool, and Now York. The, Van Van, of 600 tons, laden with copra, was lost. The barque Don Guillemo drifted and foundered in shallow water. Tho crew took, to the boat, which upset. Captain Jobnnsen and all bis officers were lost; only five of the crew were saved.
