The acting throughout was _ excellent, and the pronunciation waa partieulaely good. ' The characters of Jacqueline Madame. Bdbet, and Mariette being epeehfy worthy of notice. The concluding pieca «8». the English drama " Dick Whittington and his Cat." This piece gave much amusement to tba audience. The manner in which tbff'f character of the cook and housekeeper ws» sustained was exceedingly clever, and would. not have disgraced our beat dramatic P'*' formances. The Fairy Queen, Alice, Die* • Whittington, the King of Barbary, and r Filzwmen were also very*well performs. Some sweet tocdli'ati>n was given during tl'B evening. At the close the Rev. Their performances were not only creditable to themselves, but also to the Lady Superior and her assistants.
