The German ironclad ship of war Grosser Kurfurst, which was sunk in the fatal collision with another German ironclad, the Konig Wilhelm, off Folkeston last Saturday morning, was a vessel of 6663 tons and s*oo, effective horse, power. She was plated with armor 8& inches iv thickness. Her armament consisted of four 28-ton and two 21-ton Krupp guns.
