Stanton.—March 25, at Picton, the wife of Mr. J. Stanton, compositor, of a daughter. DEATHS. Ashwobth.—January 26, at Broadfield, Rochdale. Lancashire, Mr. John Ashworth, the author of "Strange Tales from Humble Life," aged 61 years. Deceased waß well-known in England asa Christian and philanthropist, being renowned,- for bis efforts in aid of the destitute of Rochdale, and elsewhere.
