Two Italian physicians have discovered a liquid which instantly stops the .flow of blood from- any kind of wound. A commission of physicians who have experimented with it in the anatomical theatre of Svito Spirito, report that it is one of the happiest of recent discoveries, and particularly serviceable on the battlefield.— V. The revisers ot the authorised version of the New Testament met early in December and completed the revision of St. .Luke's Gospel to the end of the 16th chapter. Ik a little over three years—from February 1871, to May, 1874—there were twentynine change! of Ministry in France.
